Kiwoom Heroes

Kiwoom Heroes is a Korean baseball team based in Seoul. It uses Gocheok Dome, located in Guro-gu, Seoul, as its home stadium. Unlike other teams in the KBO, Kiwoom Heroes runs a business itself and its name is named after their sponsor. Therefore, in 2013, when I first started watching baseball, the sponsor was a company called Nexen, and currently, it is a company called Kiwoom.

Kiwoom Heroes was founded in 2008 and has relatively few fans compared to other clubs that were established when professional baseball was launched in Korea. The team's early stage of performance was not that good, and as there were two other teams based in the same city, there were few fans. But as time passed, the team's performance improved noticeably, and the number of fans increased. In particular, Kiwoom is the team in KBO that produces the most players who advance to the major league. There are many young, passionate players on the team, so there are many young female fans. and you can feel the team and fans growing together.

Star Player

Recently, Kiwoom's most famous players are Jeong-hoo Lee, who just transferred to the San Francisco Giants, and Ha-seong Kim, who is currently from the San Diego Padres. Neither of them are power players who can hit homeruns, but their defensive ability is very good and their ball contact ability is also excellent. Since they were very outstanding players in Korea, they can be said to be role models for KBO players.
