Junghoo Lee was an infielder in his high school era. However, after being a professional player in Nexen Heroes, he changed his position to outfielder to get more playing opportunities. His splendid awards, including the Rookie of the Year Award, Golden Glove Award for 5 consecutive years, Batting Champion for 2 consecutive years, and MVP Award in 2022, represent how great a player he is in Korean baseball.
Why is he nicknamed 'The grandson of the wind?"
The reason why Lee Jeong-hoo is called the grandson of the wind is because of his father, Jongbeom Lee. His talent was inherited from his father, legendary player Jongbeom Lee.
He is an all-time KBO legend baseball player in the 1990s. He was nicknamed the Son of the Wind because of his feet as fast as the wind, excellent defense, and a natural bat. He played a big role in the KBO League as well as the Japanese Professional Baseball (NPB).

He is famous for his batting skills and contact ability to make hits. However, people were worried about whether his hitting style would work in MLB. Also, whether he would be able to adapt to the fastball of the MLB and having a home stadium right in front of the ocean would be advantageous to him were hot potatoes.
